It is generally considered a good sign if you are too busy to update your own reel. The Monovich demo reel hasn’t been updated in three years. Weighing in at over three minutes in length this reel is longer than previous versions, but thanks to the many clients and studios Monovich has had the pleasure of collaborating with over the last ten years, there were plenty of shiny things to include. This work was done at Aerodrome Pictures, where Monovich was previously DesignDirector.
Aerodrome redesigned and re-branded the FOX network from 2000 to 2005, and Monovich was along for the ride the entire time as the lead designer and animator of the project. When launched, the blue and orange look instantly broke through the network frey, and gave FOX visuals that matched its step-child personality.
